Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to discuss the latest security and political developments
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim met with the Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition Mr. Brett H. McGurk the overall political and security situation , and developments in the war against terrorist cliques of Daesh, in addition to discussing developments in international and regional events.
\r\nThis took place during his eminence meeting with Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition Mr. Brett H. McGurk at his office in Baghdad Thursday, 01/12/2016. His eminence with McGurk discussed the national settlement initiative and the position of Iraqi political parties to the initiative, stressing the importance and necessity to contain the aftermath of defeating Daesh and to achieve civil peace.
\r\nSayyid Ammar Al-Hakim reviewed the latest developments of military operations of We Are Coming, Nineveh and victories achieved by the Iraqi forces at the battlefronts against the terrorist cliques of Daesh, adding that the new Iraq is open to everyone and seeks to develop relations with everyone.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim explained that the battle to liberate the city of Mosul, is a decisive battle and requires a wide participation from the Iraqi people, and the phase following the liberation of Mosul, is a crucial phase and require an integrated inclusive political project.
