    Meeting the Jordanian king, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: the national settlement bill is based on mutual concessions and guarantees and reassurances.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar Hakim, met Jordan\'s King His Majesty Abdullah II and discussed with ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and means of developing relations on all levels Wednesday, 07/12/2016.

    His Eminence discussed with Jordan\'s King the military victories achieved by the Iraqi armed forces including the Iraqi army and police, the Popular Mobilization Force, tribal forces and Peshmerga on the alleged Daesh caliphate reign, we also discussed the new political project that aims to build of the Iraqi state during the post-Daesh phase. His eminence asked the support of the Arab brothers for this project, including Jordan\'s supportive role in particular, especially that Jordan will chair the upcoming Arab Summit.

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed out that Iraq is fighting a big war against terror and extremism, and Iraq is fighting and offer sacrifices for the sake of peace on behalf of Arabs and the world, therefore there is a supportive international effort for Iraq, and his eminence urged for more support from the Arab countries bearing in mind Iraq\'s Arabic identity and that Iraq is a founding member of the Arab League.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, conferred with Jordan\'s King developing economic and trade relations, his eminence valued the stance of the Kingdom of Jordan in support of Iraq and its people, and the steps taken to facilitate procedures for the entry and residence of Iraqi citizens in Jordan.

    Noting that the visit to Jordan was after a formal invitation, meetings were held with President of the Senate of Jordan, Speaker of the Jordan House of Representatives and Jordanian Prime Minister in addition to meeting a number of elites of the Iraqi community.
