Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, stated that the National Settlement Bill is a roadmap for building the state in a just manner, and there is no means of negotiating with criminals and who have Iraqi blood on their hands.

This took place during a press conference held by his eminence in the Iraqi embassy in Tehran Monday, 12/12/2016.

Sayyid Ammar al- Hakim stressed that National Settlement Bill adopted by the National Iraqi Alliance is not a consolation project for litigants, but a project that sets the features of building the state in a just manner, to achieve fair citizenship to all citizens without discrimination, pointing out that this bill has no means of negotiating with criminals and who have Iraqi blood on their hands, but the dialogue will be between honorable Iraqis to crystallize a project to build the state where all Iraqis guarantee their full rights.

Sayyid Ammar al- Hakim explained that the National Iraqi Alliance and coinciding with the military victories achieved by Iraqi military forces on the battlefield, had put forward an important political project to reassure all Iraqis and to consolidate national unity in the country, stressing that we bear arms and fight and achieve a military victories in one hand, and in the other hand we carry olive branch and extend love and brotherhood for the partners in the homeland to gather them under the an inclusive political project.

His eminence pointed out that passing the Popular Mobilization Forces Act, which gives the legal cover to this most sacrificing combatant group that emerged after the Fatwa of the Supreme Religious Authority in Honorable Najaf represented in the Imam Sistani, was an essential and necessary prelude to achieving national settlement project in the country, and extend love and brotherhood for the partners in the homeland to gather them under the an inclusive political project.
