Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, called for fairness to Faili Kurds because they are oppressed Iraqi component.

This took place during his eminence meeting with a delegation from the Faili Kurds, headed by Professor Haidar al-Faili Monday, 26/12/2016. His eminence discussed with the delegation ways to be more realistically represented in the meetings of the National Iraqi Alliance and in the political process.

\r\n

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stated that the democratic system strictly confirms on achieving the demands and rights of all the components without discrimination, and that the Faili Kurds is an original component of Iraq that during the past period had suffered from oppression and injustice and the taking their rights, because they are firstly affiliated to the doctrine of Ahl al-Bayt, and secondly they are of Kurdish ethnicity.

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim indicated that the National Iraqi Alliance, represents the ceiling of its internalized powers affiliated with the National Iraqi Alliance, calling Faili Kurds to actively participate in the meetings of the National Iraqi Alliance.

\r\n

His eminence praised the role of Iraqi security forces in all its different formations including the Iraqi army and police, the popular mobilization forces, tribal forces and Peshmerga, explaining that the victories achieved on Daesh pushed the components of the National Iraqi Alliance of the alliance to extend the olive branch to the national partners in a project that guarantees citizenship, which is the National Settlement Bill, that will invoke toward peaceful coexistence and prevent division and fracture.

For their part, members of the visiting delegation expressed their congratulations for electing Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim head of the National Iraqi Alliance.
