The Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its regular meeting and discussed the priorities of the proposed laws during the ongoing legislative quarter
legislation, prioritizing issues in the next legislative quarter and the unity of the National Iraqi Alliance, were the main issues covered in the Political Authority meeting of the National Iraqi Alliance headed by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, meeting was held at his eminence\'s office in Baghdad Tuesday, 17.01 0.2017.
\r\nThe attendees stressed the importance of improving legislative performance and handling anti-corruption issues, and the enactment of important laws that are needed for the next phase following the imminent final victory over terrorist Daesh in Mosul, which requires discussing future security challenges considering the fact that terrorism will return to its stealthy means and threatening the security of the people.
\r\nTopics related to the committees of the National Iraqi Alliance handling security, services, masses\' relations and media and the Alliance were covered during the meeting, and the participants stressed the importance of active participation in these committees and abide by the rules of procedure of the National Iraqi Alliance.
\r\nThe Political Authority also hosted chief election committee of the National Iraqi Alliance, and listened to the recommendations of the committee regarding the election law and the date of the next local elections.
