Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: Our battle with terrorism is our unity and we will settle it by winning the fight and break down the flag of Daesh and its alleged caliphate
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, stressed that the fight against terrorism was resolved in favor of Iraqis stemming by their unity against the enemy that make them able to break down terrorism flag and eliminate its alleged caliphate.
\r\nHis eminence during Diwan of Baghdad for professional elites and competences held in his office, Saturday, 21/01/2017 stated that the courage of Iraqis and the bravery of security forces including the army, police and the popular mobilization forces, tribal forces and Peshmerga contributed into achieving consecutive victories on the terrorist cliques of Daesh after it was at the gates of Baghdad, pointing out that the tactics of war was set to preserve the lives of civilians as paramount importance, despite Daesh\'s groups barricaded and took cover utilizing the citizens, but our military was able to liberate the left bank and will move to liberate the right bank of Mosul during the ongoing We Are Coming Nineveh operations.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim talked about the phase after victory over Daesh and putting an end to the alleged caliphate of Daesh leader al-Baghdadi, saying that the only choice is mutual understanding, dialogue and exploring opportunities for security and political stability, and keep the country from going to options of civil war, division and fracture, stressing that the National Iraqi Alliance is the largest political bloc and partner, and after conducting a study that lasted nine months it introduced a national initiative for settlement to keep the unity of the country , a vision for the future that offers solutions for the post-Daesh phase.
