    National Iraqi Alliance delegation meets with elders and tribal leaders of Maysan province and discuss the national settlement, services and tribal conflicts

    Maysan was the second leg of the National Iraqi Alliance during the tours in the central and southern provinces of Iraq, the National Iraqi Alliance, headed by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with a number of tribal leaders and elders of Maysan province, in the city of Amara, Tuesday, 31.01.2017.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, pointed to the importance of unity within the National Iraqi Alliance which is a public demand, calling the Iraqi tribes to effectively engage in the resolution of disputes through conventional solutions like tribal sittings or resorting to religious authorities, expressing his rejection to use weapons to solve problems, warning of attempts to drag chaos to the cities of the South,and what is required from the tribal figures and elders is to be vigilant and defend against the hostiles to Iraq.

    His eminence also called for conserve the tribal system that saved Iraq, along with the religious authority and Husseini rituals, urging tribal leaders to address the use of weapons during \"Aeradat.\" (an Iraqi tribal cultural custom)

    in respect of the national settlement, his eminence indicated that it was designed out of wisdom and realization of rights, but on its own terms, no dialogue with the criminals, and no turning back and the Constitution has the final word and it is the supporting tent to any project, as well as rejecting all the trusteeship on Iraq either from the Security Council or the United Nations or the League of Arab States, stressing on Iraqis commitment for each other.
