    National Iraqi Alliance delegation meets with tribal elders and leaders of Dhi Qar province, discussing national settlement and post-Daesh phase

    The National Iraqi Alliance delegation, headed by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with tribal elders and leaders of Dhi Qar province and discussed the national settlement and post-Daesh phase Wednesday, 02/01/2017.

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim indicated that the subject of the national settlement project represents a comprehensive and reassuring project to Iraqis, and do not include criminals nor the Baath Party, stressing that the settlement unite the people of Iraq with each other and prevent the return of terrorism by preventing the terrorism bastions.

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed out that the settlement was faced with criticism from a number of sides, because it will enable the Iraqis to have a breakthrough, and there are those who fear the advancement of Iraq through its potentials and its wealth, its people and its history, urging tribal leaders to explain these facts to the people in a calm manner and through the tribal social gatherings which has always been a source of wisdom.

    His eminence praised the cohesion of the tribes in Dhi Qar province, and the pacts they signed to protect the social fabric, like the teacher\'s immunity pact, mentioning the role of the tribes since the twentieth revolution and the 1991 uprising, responding to the religious authority fatwa of Sufficiency Jihad and the fight against Daesh , plus their role in liberating the Iraqi soil in a way that amazed the world on military and humanity terms.

    His eminence indicated that the Iraqi experience suffer from injustice and amplifying mistakes, noting that this case is orderly set and not arbitrary spread, everyone makes mistakes, yet no one is talking about them.
