    National Iraqi Alliance delegation meets with Kurdish parties to discuss the national settlement and the unsettled issues between Baghdad and Erbil

    Kurdistan region was the fourth leg of the National Iraqi Alliance delegation, headed by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, after visiting Babylon, Maysan and Dhi Qar provinces, the delegation met with the political powers and Kurdish parties Sunday, 05/02/2017.

    The bilateral meetings between the National Iraqi Alliance delegation and the Kurdish parties focused on political issues of Iraq, the victories achieved on Daesh and the national settlement project as a sole option to the post-victory phase.

    \r\n

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, pointed to the importance of dialogue as a best means to resolve the unsettled problems, stressing that Iraq\'s diversity is a source of power for Iraq and that the united Iraq is the guarantee and reassurance to everyone\'s rights, pointing out that the national settlement project differs from all previous projects, because it adopted the principle of presenting concessions from everyone to everyone, and to present reassuring and guarantees from everyone to everyone under the umbrella of Iraq.

    In respect of unsettled issues between Baghdad and Erbil, his eminence indicated that solutions are general principles agreed upon and there are a lot of details that are distributed on terms of reference, whether it is under the jurisdiction of the Iraqi House of Representatives, or under the jurisdiction of the government and or under the jurisdiction of the judiciary system.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance reiterated discussing post-Daesh phase considering the imminent complete victory, noting the importance of restoring the necessities of life to the liberated areas and restore community cohesion and tackle social problems in the liberated areas.

    \r\n

    The National Iraqi Alliance delegation also discussed the political issues in Kurdistan region, calling to resolve the unsettled problems through dialogue and favor the public interest over private interest.
