Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets with Minister of Defense to discuss the final stages of We Are Coming Ninawah operations
Head of the National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, received Minister of Defense Mr. Irfan Hayali, at his office in Baghdad Tuesday, 07/02/2017
\r\nHis eminence discussed with Hayali the final stages of We Are Coming Ninawah operations at the right bank of Mosul and the center of Tal Afar, stressing the importance of cooperation and integration of roles between all divisions of Iraqi armed forces.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed out the importance of building a strong army similar to modern armies that are characterized with skill and agility and are capable of meeting the challenges of unorganized armies, pointing to the importance of upgrading the combat weaponry of the Iraqi army and to be equipped with the latest military equipment.
\r\nHis eminence urged military departments to stay away from the political debate and focus on the protection of the country, the citizen, the democratic process and people’s choices according to the constitution and law, pointing to the importance of higher coordination between the Ministry of Defense and other security institutions to improve the security performance in general.
