Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets with Russian Ambassador Maxim Maximov to discuss military victories over the terrorist Daesh
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, and the Russian ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Maxim Maximov, discussed the military victories of the security forces on terrorist Daesh Wednesday, 08/02/2017
\r\nHis eminence indicated that the Iraqis nowadays are closer than ever for unity and agreement on a project that is reassuring for everyone after the victory over terrorist Daesh, pointing to the importance of concerted efforts to get Iraq out of downfalls.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim urged world countries to support Iraq in its fight against the intellectual and ideological remnants of terrorism, the reconstruction of the cities and resettlement of displaced people and to contribute to mitigate the humanitarian burden, calling for effective contribution at the donors\' conference for the reconstruction of the cities afflicted by terrorist Daesh.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim reiterated the importance of world knowledge to the Iraqi national settlement project, stressing that Iraq is not the first country that lived internal conflicts, while Iraq has a lot of potentials that make it a united country and have a weight regionally and internationally and a bridge to the convergence of the foes.
