Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: There is a wide acceptance among the political powers of all levels to the idea of supporting and opposing in the management of the Iraqi state

In light of the political developments accompanying military advancement on the battleground and defeat Daesh, and in conjunction with the region and the world changes and the knowledge accumulation in building the Iraqi democratic experiment, head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, believed that the idea of a patriotic government that holds everyone was necessary for a certain phase during the new Iraq phases, despite of comments suggesting the fact that some are involved in the government and yet criticized it, noting that the political powers of all levels have become receptive to the idea of country management through supporters and oppositionists, and in accordance with the half plus one equation, explaining about the controller bloc and its contents by saying \"there is an opinion that advocates political majority in the sense of who have more than half are the majority and the rest of are the opposition, while in the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq we are oriented to have a national majority, and this means the presence of central powers of the components of Iraq in the government in order to be comforting for all”, urging for a greater role for young people in the political process that is appropriate with their size in the Iraqi community.

This took place in the Dewan of Baghdad for Youth elites and competencies in his eminence office in Baghdad Saturday, 11.02.2017.

His eminence stressed that demonstrations is a right guaranteed by the Constitution and no one can object on it, adding, but the timing of the demonstrations should be considered noting preparations to liberate the right bank of Mosul from Daesh as a primary note, as well as importance knowing if the content and the subject of the demonstration could be discussed in the corridors of the government or parliament.

His eminence urged youth leaders to read the political facts and the parliamentary system applied on political blocs, and if the youth want to have an influence and a political presence, they should join the political entities that are consistent with their beliefs, stressing the importance of assuring that the age of candidacy is consistent with the age range to start a political party, so it is not possible to allow starting a party on the age of twenty five ,while not being able to be a candidate on the age of thirty, his eminence warning of the risk of passive circular in dealing with the political class, everyone makes mistakes and it and only who made the mistakes should take the responsibility, pointing out the importance of the built-up experiences, that a number of individuals have, and to maintain their position and invest them.
