    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discusses international support to Iraq and the post-Daesh phase with the Ambassador of Norway to Baghdad 

    Head of the National iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, received the Ambassador of Norway to Baghdad Mrs. Cecil Priya along with Carsten Carlsen Minister Counsellor and Consul Thomas Mcnicol, at his office in Baghdad Wednesday, 15/02/2017.

    His eminence and the Ambassador of Norway discussed post-Daesh phase and international support for Iraq in the face the global threat , indicating that the world today is obliged to support Iraq in the face of terrorism and the reconstruction of the cities destroyed by Daesh so as to have a united confrontation against terrorism, noting the importance of concerted efforts to fight Daesh intellectually and follow clues of recruitment, financial support and pathways that Daesh utilize to reach the Middle East countries.

    His eminence indicated that Iraq\'s project after the liberation of Mosul aims to restore normal life to the liberated cities and strengthening of democracy in Iraq and finalizing the comprehensive political project that reassures all political power which was adopted by the National Iraqi Alliance under the title of the national settlement project. His eminence praised the role of Norway in support of the Iraqi armed forces through providing trainings, arming plus caring for Iraqi refugees.

    Cecil Priya expressed to continue support Iraq in the face of terrorism and support to the displaced people and mitigate the humanitarian crisis that has afflicted Iraq, as well as support in ​​consolidation of Iraqi political experience and political system.
