Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Iranian Minister of Oil Mr. Bijan Namdar Zangeneh to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, at his office in Baghdad received Iranian Minister of Oil Mr. Bijan Namdar Zangeneh and the accompanying delegation with the presence of Iraqi Minister of Oil Mr. Jabbar Luaibi Monday, 20/2/2017.
\r\nHis eminence with Zangeneh discussed power industry across the region and the world plus the economic relations between Iraq and Iran, stressing the importance of coordination and building economic relations between the two countries because of its positive impact for the two countries in particular and the whole region in general.
\r\nHis eminence discussed with Zangeneh benefiting from shared oil fields and solving related problems through dialoguing and then make agreement and benefit from Iranian oil refineries located near the oil production sites either in Kirkuk or Southern areas of Iraq.
\r\nIranian Minister of Oil expressed his gratitude to Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, for the warm hospitality, stressing that the two countries have the greatest weight in the region, and economic cooperation between the two countries will be in their interest, as well as for the region in general, and this stems from the geographical and economic ties shared between Iraq and Iran.
