    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with the President of Iraq to discuss developments in the political and security situation in Iraq

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with the President of Iraq his excellency Mr. Fuad Masum at the President\'s office in Baghdad Wednesday, 01/03/2017.

    \r\n

    His eminence with his excellency discussed developments in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, and the victories achieved on Daesh terrorists through the efforts of Iraqi security forces, the popular mobilization forces, tribal forces and Peshmerga, and near end of the military confrontation page with terrorism, stressing the importance of preparing for the post-liberation and to provide a bundle of solutions for security, economic, social and developmental problems, indicating that the combination of these solutions is capable of eradicating all forms of terrorism, calling to find a mutual acceptable text for the next election law.

    His eminence called on the political powers and social actors to provide solutions for the societal issues created by Daesh in order to restore harmony to the community and dedicating efforts to reconstruct cities and restore normal life, noting the importance of concerted efforts to end the Iraqi crises.

    \r\n

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance stressed the importance of legislations and act to pass inactive laws especially laws related to completing the structure of the state and the relationship between the government and provinces, stressing the importance of invoking national interest and control disagreements to guarantee everyone\'s interests.

    \r\n

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed to the importance of integration between the three presidencies, praising the efforts of the Presidency in communication with the political powers and chiefs of Iraqi tribes for the good of Iraq.
