Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim calls to strengthen parliamentary relations between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, called to promote parliamentary relations between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting the importance of benefiting from the experiences in parliamentary performance between the two countries and exchange of experiences between the two institutions.
\r\nDuring a meeting with a Parliamentary delegation of the of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Chairman of the Committee of Construction and Economy in the Iranian Shura Council Mohammad Rezaei at his eminence in Baghdad office, Saturday, 04/03/2017, his eminence indicated that Iraq today is approaching to harvest the fruits of their patience, and 2017 is a decisive and critical year in the future of Iraq, as ending military presence of Daesh and cement the course of democracy, stressing that Daesh although they are a curse on Iraq, but the challenge that Daesh had left contributed to the unity of Iraqis and draw everyone\'s attention to the importance of unity as a portal to resolve all crises.
\r\nAt the international level, His eminence emphasized that the region is close to settlement in all crises, reminding his vision that was put forward earlier, that the intensification of the confrontation means that everyone is looking for negotiation in the sense that everyone is aware that the solution is in negotiating away from the policy of arm-twisting, reiterated his call for a regional dialogue and management of powers in the region, citing the importance of investing the region peoples’ great potentials rather than be eaten by conflict, battling and intimidating others.
