    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: issues between the federal government and the provinces are resolvable if authority and decision-makers sides sat together

    head of the National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, counted the unsolved issues between local governments and the federal government resolvable issues if relevant authority, powers and decision-makers sat together, indicating that solutions are attainable in spite of the current financial situation and shortage.

    This took place in his eminence speech at a conference, which brought together the ministers of planning, electricity, construction and housing, interior and high education, finance, and transport with the Board of Governors and the heads of the provinces of Maysan, Dhi Qar, Babil, which were visited by the National Iraqi Alliance delegation led by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, with the presence of a number of Parliament Members from these provinces and the Secretary General of the Council of Minister Mr. Mahdi al-Allaq at his eminence office in Baghdad Sunday, 12/03/2017.

    His eminence stated the issues are either in financial allocations or the intersection of administrations or in financial transfers and sometimes lie in the powers and decision-making, noting that visits to the provinces offered promises to the public and local governments, confirming understanding and response from the Prime Minister and the Ministers and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers to receive requests, follow-up and direct the related authorities to handle the issues, and this conference is the result of efforts carried out by the National Iraqi Alliance and its committees, local governments and parliamentarians who had followed and worked on overcoming the obstacles.
