Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, called to exclude the tribal institution from political conflicts, noting that tribal leadership bias to certain political side is wrong , but the right thing is that tribes remain the center to embrace all opinions and political orientations, counting tribes the most important proof of Iraqis\' adherence to social structure and keeping the unity of Iraq.

This took place during his eminence meeting a number of Iraqi tribal leaders in his office in Baghdad Tuesday, 14.03.2017.

His eminence indicated that Iraq is facing multiple options after terrorist Daesh calling to be attentive to this phase and work for a comprehensive national settlement in all aspects of life that should be reassuring for all and made by Iraq, expressing his rejection to all calls for international trusteeship on Iraq as a condition for accepting the settlement in order to gain some sort of guarantees, praising the role of Iraqi tribes in maintaining communications amongst them that contributed in burying sectarianism and facing extremism.
