Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its regular meeting at the office of head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Wednesday 15/3/2017
\r\nMeeting’s discussions covered of the most prominent issues in Iraq including the victories achieved by the security forces on Daesh and the near announcement of Mosul being free from terrorist Daesh, plus discussing elections and the difficulties faced by the new Committee of Experts for the selection of the new council and the electoral law. The Political Authority pointed the importance of making Baghdad the conferences’ location to discuss the political process for any Iraqi component and considering the importance of Iraq’s interest away from conferences sponsored by other countries that seek their own interests and perceiving Iraq from its own point of view and for its own benefit.
