    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with a delegation of Al-Ghara tribes to discuss the post-Daesh phase and the unity of Iraqi speech

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, with a delegation of the Al-Ghara tribes discussed post-Daesh phase and the importance of a unified discourse to end the security and political crises.

    \r\n

    His eminence and during his meeting with the delegation of the Al-Ghara tribes in his office in Baghdad Thursday, March 23, 2017 stressing the importance of the role played by the Iraqi tribes in the face of terrorism, noting that the post-Daesh phase require amplify the efforts, because terrorism will seek any outlet to penetrate into the Iraqi society after losing grounds, and this requires caution and efforts to restore social harmony and solve problems without delays, noting the importance of the presence of all and taking their roles.

    His eminence pointed out that the Iraqi society by its nature is a tribal society, and this tribal presence immune the society from sectarianism, all tribes have sectarian diversity, which requires the tribal chiefs to avoid the sectarian vocabulary to preserve the unity of his cousins, stressing that the tribal communities do not intersect with civility noting a lot of issues are solved through tribal mediation which is one of the pillars of community solutions.

    His eminence indicated that the security confrontation is inevitable with Daesh, yet it will be incomplete if not supported by developmental, economic and social solutions, and that requires developming of appropriate plans that perceive economic reality of Iraq and identify the priorities to be approached through clear administrative procedures.
