Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, considered books and reading is one of the most important weapons against ignorance which produced terrorism in its multiple versions, and Daesh is not the last, praising the state of competition in knowledge which the best thing to compete on.
\r\nHis eminence and during his visit to the Book Fair on the ground of Baghdad International Fair Friday, 24/3/2017 stressed the importance of embracing such exhibitions in the capital Baghdad, noting that these activities which is participated by the Arab and global publishing houses is a proof that Iraq resorted its position and role in all domains Including the field of knowledge, calling on governmental and private cultural institutions to prepare plans and programs to restore the culture of reading in line with the challenges of the cognitive and intellectual phase.
