Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim calls for changing the approach of the political system in Iraq from national partnership to the majority and national minority

Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, affirmed the end of phase of sectarian and ethnical entrenchment, because the Iraq people no longer pay attention to sectarian and ethnical differences, calling to change the method of managing the political system from national partnership to become based on majority and the national minority in order to make the citizen able to control the decision-making through trusting those who are sought to be better to run the country, indicating that majority and the national minority is the democracy that is worked on to be consolidated in Iraq after a long period of efforts and sacrifices to build a democratic system, indicating that the experience proved the lack of actual sectarianism, but there are some politicians who are sectarian and discriminatory. His eminence warned of the danger that threatens the unity of Iraq, if political powers do not go for a genuine national settlement and mutual concessions and tolerance of all, for there is no guardianship nor ignoring the Constitution nor return to the square one, addressing the political forces by saying, \"Oh God, I have delivered the message and God is my witness”

This took place in his eminence speech on the day of the Iraqi martyr, in memory of the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, \"Shaheed al-Mihrab\" (sanctify his soul) that is observed in Baghdad and other fifteen provinces on the first of the month of Rajab 1438, Friday, 31/3/2017

We believe in an active and honest Iraq with its people and neighbors

His eminence indicated that the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement is a believer in his project and will not abandon it, and who does not comprehend it today will regret tomorrow as they regretted opposing many of our stands that we announced and we were revolted because of it and then they came and adopted it afterwards, pointing out that seeing the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement excelling others comes in accordance with its legitimate, moral and national duty, God then the people observing and reckoning the movement and does not seek to manipulate feelings of people and exploit their future and emotions, His eminence stressed the belief of the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement of an active, not a reactive Iraq, a sincere Iraq with its people and neighbors, a respected member of the international community, and a Iraq in which the Shiites and Sunnis are integrated and do not disagree, where Arabs, Kurds and Turks, and Muslims, Christians, Sabians and Yazidis coexist, and show the most beautiful meanings of humanity among themselves, stressing that the belief in these concepts is not a dream but goals that can be achieved by the efforts pf honorable people to serve faith, the homeland and humanity.

We will present young and efficient people working to build a fair modern state

His eminence called on everyone to present the best candidates or executives, explaining that the people are exhausted of lack of competence and mismanagement, blaming everyone for the responsibility of this failure, stressing that favoritism, partiality and regionalism are no longer accepted by the people, promising that in the next phase the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement will present new and competent youth who would shoulder responsibility to build the modern fair state, and achieve development and service for the country and citizen, adding: \"We have carried unity, a motto and a belief and we have accepted the accession of the presidency of the National Iraqi Alliance because we believe in systematic and productive reform, and we are determined to reform the big institution, and here is the National Iraqi Alliance, organized its work, completed its structures and is closer to its masses, more open to its partners, and from it we will move on towards our unbiased project God willing” promising sons the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement by stating:” I will be with you in every step, every drop of tear, every pain and every smile of victory, I promise that I will be for you, for Iraq and for Islam and the creed, and I will not deviate from the direction of Iraq, and will only embrace its soil, and we pledge the martyrs that we will not forget them, and they will remain suns shining on us and we promise the orphans that we will not have rest until they can close their eyes feeling safe and secured. \" warning the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement from the deceiving sounds that will try to deceive them by lying, slander, confusion and distortion. 

Because of corruption, terrorism was able to rip the body of Iraqis

His eminence addressed the sons of Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement by stating, \"You are targeted because they fear your project, your credibility and the clarity of your approach, so do not pay attention to all the dust they throw and continue to work strong, persistent and with confidence in Allah and in yourselves, because you are the best, the most honest and the closest to the people, and as we had a battle with terrorism we will have a battle against corruption and corruptors when we complete of our critical battle with Daesh, and as we had mobilized all the capabilities and we have won in our fight against Daesh, we will mobilize all the required capabilities and we will win over the corruptors God willing.” describing the terrorists and corruptors as one alliance and two sides of one coin and of one methodology, and because of corruption, terrorism was able to rip the bodies of our people every day, urging the sons of the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement to resolve and insist on victory, steadfastness, perseverance and work, and to count each one as ten, indicating that the biggest challenge is to take the initiative and guide this country to safety, The Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement cannot abandon Iraq and its critical issues, and will not be abandoning Iraq, because he knows that the sons of the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement loyal sons and loyal men, pointing out that the people reproach the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement because the people have high expectations toward the movement and this requires the sons of the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement to be able to bear the responsibility and to assess their work and to rearrange their goals and priorities according to their vision and their political belief, Describing the current phase as critical and decisive, which need to make the homeland the main concern and the citizen the main goal, emphasizing by stating, \" be preoccupied with the concerns of your people and defended them and rush to serve them, there is no greater honor over serving people and achieve comfort and solve their problems and heal their wounds and stand with them and raise deprivation \", his eminence stressed that the Iraqis deserve a much better reality than the reality they are currently living in, they deserve a modern state that provides them security, services and a decent life,and this can only be achieved only if the good people come together and pledge to serve their country and work with great diligence, perseverance and keenness to people\'s money and dreams, his eminence indicated that the people of Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement are responsible of gathering the group of good and sincere people to accompany them in one project to make a better Iraq for its sons and daughters, pointing out that Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement words are heard throughout Iraq, because of its the credibility, patriotism and honor, describing them as sons of palms of Iraq and Najaf, Karbala and the sons of the Tigris and Euphrates, the sons of marshes and mountain, the one who suffered detention and exile, the sons of this people which stunned the world show great patience and will, and because the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement is always in the lead, its sons must learn lenience and patience from the Al-Mihrab Martyr himself no matter how strong is the pressure and no matter how much they bear responsibility, stressing to be ready for supporting all who believe in Iraq and its right to a decent life.

His eminence pointed out that the Al-Mihrab Martyr taught his sons how to build great projects out of gallows and how great challenges are great opportunities, the former regime wanted to execute his character, so he announced the birth of his project \"The National Opposition Project\", reminding the return pf the martyr to the homeland carrying his soul and spreading his project in the hearts of millions of the people, he wanted a constitution written by the Iraqis and wanted an elected democratic government and wanted a free homeland as a master, not a follower or occupied and wanted an Iraq open to its Arab and Islamic neighbors and the international community. He had achieved some of what he wanted, and some of his dreams did not see the light yet, stressing the need to stabilize the positions and the need for the courage of the Al-Mihrab Martyr, his wisdom and faith, patriotism and perseverance, great countries do not forget its heroes, leaders and men and our Iraq is great since it is not afflicting others, describing the leaders of the Al-Mihrab Martyr Movement as leaders of the project, not leaders of the phase, leadership is all about humbleness and they were unpretentious to God, the faith and the people and to the beloved country, leadership is giving, and they had offered their blood until they had exhausted their murderers, and they have given patience until they made their prisoners tired, and they have presented their self-denial until they gained respect of their enemies and rivals, adding : “ leadership is magnanimity, dignity and honor, so who can deny Al-Mahdi, Baqir, and Iraq\'s Dearest and their honor and dignity that was blended with the dignity of this country and the dignity of its people, when we reminiscence the Al-Mihrab Martyr, we recall that true Islamic, calm, open, moderate, national character, and also that decisive personality, the sharp sword in the face of all those who oppose the homeland and the people and the creed. \"

Indicating that the Al-Mihrab Martyr was working for the original Islam and did not hesitate, did not stop, and stood like a mountain against tyranny and deviation, he was working for the nation and mobilized all in national projects that overlooked ethnicity, sectarianism and partiality, he offered us a movement that deserves to make us feel proud of it and of its approach and vision, he gave us a bridge to cross many downfalls and crises experienced by the homeland and faced by the community, describing the movement a bridge where all segments of the Iraqi people meet and it is not limited but comprehensive, and strongly defended the people of this country without discrimination or sensitivity.
