The General Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its periodic meeting under the chairmanship of head of the National Iraqi Alliance Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, with the presence of the Prime Minister Mr. Haider al-Abadi in the office of his eminence in Baghdad on Sunday 3/4/2017.

The meeting discussed the We Are Coming Ninawah operations and the victories achieved by the security forces on terrorist Daesh and nearing the resolution of the battle militarily. The Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces presented a detailed description of the developments of the battle and the results of his visit to Washington and the results of his attendance at the Arab League Summit meetings, plus discussing Interrogations and the results of some committees of the National Iraqi Alliance. The National Iraqi Alliance considered that raising the flag of the Kurdistan Region in Kirkuk as an unsuccessful step and not in the interest of national cohesion.

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim indicated the importance of interrogations as a constitutional right, but provided that the conditions of interrogation is to not be far away from the professionalism, stressing the importance paying attention to the challenges faced by Iraq at the level of security, economic and politics.
