Head of the National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, received his office in Baghdad Governor of Basra, Mr. Majid al-Nasrawi and heads of political blocs in Basra Governorate Council Monday 3/4/2017.

His eminence discussed with the delegation of Basra the reality of the city service and the level of services provided to the city in the light of the economic crisis suffered by Iraq as a result of the war with terrorism and low oil prices, noting that the city of Basra deserves to give an exceptional substantiality as it gives a lot and takes less than it deserve, pointing to the need to give Basra funds to remove the environmental impact of its large oil reserves.

His eminence called for creating tools and methods to provide services to citizens without relying on the federal government through activating investment or involving the private sector, stressing the need to invest Basra\'s academic capacity both at internally and abroad and coupling these experiences with the local government considering that Basra has one of the best universities in the region .

\r\n

in respect of Basra security situation, his eminence renewed his warning of attempts to drag chaos to the cities of the southern region of Iraq, and praised the social solutions to tribal conflicts occurring in the province, stressing the need to address any attempt that make terrorism able to overcome losing grounds throughout the country.
