    The delegation of the National Iraqi Alliance, headed by the head of the alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Mr. Sameh Shukri at the latter\'s office in Cairo Tuesday 18/4/2017.

    His eminence during meeting with Shukri, stressed the importance of cooperation between Iraq and Egypt, and to encourage the region to engage in a open and serious dialogue ending the tragic situations and save the region from rivalry and stampede that take place on more than one arena, pointing out that Iraq has retook the land from Daesh and with the return of the land, part of the people returned to the homeland and this is the big victory.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, emphasized that the security solution to terrorism, is one of confrontation tools with the elimination ideology, but the most important confrontation is the intellectual confrontation that deprive terrorism from the most important weapon utilized to mislead young individuals by the alleged caliphate reign , making all the political, religious, intellectual and media institutions, responsible to address this Takfiri discourse and show the fact of coexistence between the sons of one religion and between other religions, noting that terrorism did not hesitate to change his skin according to its readings of the targeted region by disguising in a religious, ethnical or a sectarian cover, and this is what is happening in Iraq and in Egypt. In Iraq, terrorism playing on components, denominations and sects and in Egypt on religions, citing the bombings that targeted Tanta and Alexandria and claimed the lives of dozens of Copts of Egypt.
