    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discusses with the Secretary General of the Arab League the Arab concerns and the security challenges facing the Arab countries

    Throughout the visit to Cairo, head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, leading the National Iraqi Alliance delegation, met Secretary General of the Arab League Mr. Ahmed Aboul-Gheit Thursday 20/4/2017.

    His eminence with Aboul Gheit discussed the common Arab concerns and the security challenges faced by the Arab countries, especially Daesh terrorism that is moving from place to another using different disguise. His eminence warned that Daesh is searching for other dens after being humiliated in Iraq, especially the cities of Sinai and Libyan Sirte, calling for a new vision in the face of terrorism.

    His eminence stressed that the solution of the Iraqi crisis is an Iraqi solution and rejected imposition of external wills, indicating that Kurdish referendum need to be discussed with Baghdad, or everyone will lose and weaken without a winner, indicating the importance that the prime ministers of Iraq and Egypt take responsibility for the joint coordination committees. His eminence touched the national settlement as a state project under the umbrella of the law and the constitution.

    Regarding security, his eminence pointed the collapse of Daesh and the near military resolution, but more importantly is intellectual liberalization, indicating the importance of secular communication from Al-Azhar to visit Iraq and the rapprochement between the institutions of moderation Al-Azhar and Najaf Ashraf
