    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discusses with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Iraq\'s five priorities in the next phase

    Throughout the visit to Cairo, head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, leading the National Iraqi Alliance delegation, met the President of the Arab Parliament Mr. Meshal Bin Fahm Al-Salami and discussed with him the latest security and political developments Thursday 20/4/2017.

    His eminence reviewed with Salami Iraq\'s priorities in the next phase represented in unity, Arabism and sovereignty, the promotion of democracy and the state of citizenship as a recipe for the best success of Iraq, expressing his rejection along with the Iraqis to foreign intervention attempts, while backing the Arab and Islamic and international support, counting the Constitution the highest above all, describing the national settlement project put forward by the National Iraqi Alliance for all Iraqis and among all of them, a project to build the state.

    His eminence called the Arab countries to rule realistically on Iraq away from the presumed blurry picture. The Iraqi reality is very different from the false media images advocated by some media, warning from dealing with sectarianism as a doctrinal or religious sectarianism but at its core is political sectarianism.

    Al-Salami stated that terrorism has no place in the Arab and Islamic world, and that efforts must be exerted to fight it, and that Iraq is not a contingency in the Arab world, but an active member and founder of the Arab League, the depth of the Arab world and its historical beacon.
