    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim addresses chiefs of diplomatic missions in Egypt ... Iraq is close to end the confrontation with Daesh and needs support for the reconstruction of cities

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met chiefs of diplomatic missions in Cairo Thursday 20/4/2017. His eminence indicated that Iraq is close to end the military confrontation with the terrorist Daesh, stressing that Daesh will seek alternative hosts, calling for comprehensive resolution to the problem of terrorism intellectually, socially, security and intelligence cooperation among the countries of the region.

    His eminence stated that Iraq set its priorities in the next phase represented in unity, Arabism, sovereignty and the consolidation of democracy and the nationalism state, pointing out that the next phase will witness the start of the national lists, which includes blocs with real weight to form a supported national government in front of a national opposition, stressing that Iraq needs the national majority not the numerical majority.

    Regarding the national settlement, his eminence stated that it is a project to build the state, which is for all Iraqis under the Constitution and without external interventions, but supported and adopted by the United Nations, pointing out that Iraqis need a comprehensive project that collect the ambitions of everyone and realize their interest, warning from the repercussions of the Iraqi situation on the region unless Iraq is supported to overcome its crises, Iraq has gone a long way in combating terrorism and fighting on behalf of the region and the world.
