Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim called Arab intellectuals and writers to visit Iraq and learn about Iraq’s reality on ground away from the untrue images conveyed by some media misrepresenting facts, urging Arab intellectual to take roles against extremist and Takfiri thoughts spreading in the Arab and Islamic nation.
\r\nThroughout National Iraqi Alliance delegation visit to Cairo, headed by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, His eminence met with a number of politicians, artists and cultural figures in the Cultural Hall of Dialogue of Civilizations Thursday 20/4/2017, his eminence renewed his call for a regional dialogue that invests Egypt\'s role as a pillar in the regional and Middle East balance. Indicating that the existence of crisis requires dialogue, mutual understanding, manage influence and the minimum dimensions of political rules of engagement, stressing that Iraq is part of the Arab and regional system, therefore Arabism is at the top of Iraq priorities in the upcoming phase in addition to sovereignty, unity, the consolidation of democracy and the nationalism state, pointing that political blocs are going for a national majority to form the next government and work on a comprehensive national settlement under the roof of the Constitution and the law.
\r\nRegarding security, his eminence indicated that the security resolution to terrorism is important, but requires developmental, social and intellectual handling plus a political project that support and strengthen the success in security, stressing that the victory is very near and Iraq will soon announce the end of the military page with Daesh.
