Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with the Minister of Youth discusses post partial lifting of ban on Iraqi soccer
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Abdul Hussein Abtan Monday 15/5/2017
\r\nHis eminence with Abtan discussed post-phase of the partial lifting of ban on Iraqi soccer, praising the efforts exerted to seek this decision, calling for urgent action to completely lift the ban on all Iraqi stadiums, including the capital, Baghdad.
\r\nHis eminence also called for giving attention to administrative aspects when organizing international soccer matches. His eminence emphasized on supporting football as one of the most important interests of Iraqi youth and could one of the means to protect youth from extreme ideology by focusing on sport, plus that football is a message of peace to all the people of the world.
