Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized on the need to support general managers’ authority and avoid violating these powers by governors in support of stabilizing decentralization.

His eminence and during the meeting of National Iraqi Alliance with the general managers of Baghdad departments and directors of the administrative units, stressed on the need to transfer powers despite the difficulties facing the governors, pointing to the need for proper investment of some of the powers granted to governors and not to violate the powers of general managers.

\r\n

His eminence pointed to the existence of complaints filed by general managers regarding the intervention of provincial council members by being subjected them to personal or political pressures. His eminence called on the members of the provincial councils to exercise restraint in order to make the decentralization successful when managing the affairs, and added that this is a transitional stage with difficulties, and submission is not a solution, but will create another type of problems for us.

His eminence stressed the keenness of National Iraqi Alliance to provide legal cover and other type of support through related National Iraqi Alliance committees and give a boost to the situation of Baghdad.
