Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Prince Ali bin al-Hussein and calls for intensified efforts to lift the ban completely from Iraqi stadiums
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, at his office in Baghdad received President of the Jordanian Football Federation and President of the West Asian Union Prince Ali bin al-Hussein Thursday June 1, 2017.
\r\nHis eminence discussed with bin al-Hussein complete ban lift on Iraqi stadiums, praising the role of Jordan and responding to play on Iraqi soil, calling for more cohesion to convey the voice of sports being the most important evidences of life especially in Iraq where sport played a positive role in the cohesion of society.
\r\nHis eminence stressed that Iraq is qualified to host international events and that the security concerns are not the as demonstrated by media, citing the crowded stadiums during league matches and ending without any problem, stressing on fair play and honest competition.
