Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim calls for confronting deviant ideas and defending the Islamic faith of the Iraqi people

\r\nHead of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, during the ninth Ramadan evening in his office in Baghdad Sunday 4/6/2017, called for confronting the deviant ideas that target the Islamic faith of the Iraqi people, pointed out that the confrontation is an intellectual confrontation that respond to negative allegations and generalizations, and pointed out that this targeting is appears to be against the Islamic political powers but it is basically targeting Islam and the faith of the Iraqi people, stressed that freedom of expression does not mean to allow ridicule and mocking the doctrine of millions, but requires others to respect and not violate the privacy of others.
\r\nHis eminence explained the importance of justice in preserving the rights of the individual and the rights of the Iraqi society, called for overcoming the obstacles for the sake of people interests, such as checkpoints that delay the entry of goods into cities, which means high prices and damage to public and private businesses, stressed on financial safety of the individual and society, and urged the society to protect honest and faithful officials so that they can continue their efforts and not make them similar to the corruptive and corruptors.
