Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, expressed his optimism about the future of Iraq, pointed out that will surprise Arab brothers with Iraq\'s future after healing wounds and show a model for the ability to coexist, and that Iraq seeks to completely eliminate Daesh and all forms of terrorism.

This was during in a speech delivered at the Kuwaiti Journalists Association on Tuesday 6/6/2017.

His eminence indicated that Iraqis are in a state of unity in the face of terrorism, stressed Iraq\'s need for a comprehensive dialogue, and warned that dividing Iraq will make everyone lose and will have regional repercussions on everyone and regional security. His eminence pointed that the visit to Kuwait is made to discuss bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait, but yet despite all efforts relations still below the level of ambition, and the visit also aims to inform the Kuwaiti leaders on efforts to combat terrorism and military operations, especially in Nineveh, his eminence praised Kuwait role supporting Iraq after the fall of the regime.

Regarding Iraq\'s regional and international relations, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed Iraq\'s openness to Egypt because of its role in deepening relations, and called on Egypt to take its leadership role, pointed out that Iraq has close relations with Iran, and that Iran wants to initiate dialogues with neighboring countries.
