Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, during Eid al-Fitr visited a number of martyrs\' families of popular mobilization forces and security forces Tuesday 27/6/2017.

\r\n

His eminence listened families demands and needs, congratulated them for Eid al-Fitr and the victories achieved by security forces in Mosul, and to the near end of Daesh page and the fall of their alleged caliphate. His eminence indicated that victories have been achieved because sacrifices of martyrs and families of martyrs, pointed out that life and continuity of life in Iraq is indebted to the wise religious authority fatwa and the sacrificed blood of martyrs who were the fuel of victory.

His eminence called on the society to assume its responsibilities in care of the families of the martyrs. And pointed out that this care is not and will not be the responsibility of the government alone, but that it is the responsibility of the state and the social interactions, religious and tribal activities. His eminence called giving the families of the martyrs special privileges first in employment opportunities, in education or medical treatment, or in any field that show that community is grateful to them for their sacrifice and loss of family providers to Iraq if it is a father or brother, stressed the need to praise martyrs and perpetuation their glorious contributions through naming schools, streets and public squares by martyrs’ names showing gratitude and appreciation.
