The Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance holds its regular meeting to discuss liberation of Mosul and the post-Daesh phase
The Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of the head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim at his office in Baghdad Sunday 9/7/2017.
\r\nThe conferees congratulated the supreme religious authority and the Iraqi people for their victories in the city of Mosul and discussed post-Daesh phase, and affirmed launching the national settlement project alongside with the victory announcement over Daesh.
\r\nDiscussions also covered the developments in the political situation in Iraq and the region and activation the legislative committees of the National Iraqi Alliance, and the liberation of Tal Afar, as well as the election law and electoral commission. The meeting witnessed hosting head of electoral district of the electoral commission, Mr. Wael Al-Waeli, who presented a detailed presentation on the mechanism of result counter and the measures to reduce potential forged resulted, for that the conferees urged the government and the Electoral Commission to expedite completion the issuing of citizens electronic voter card.
\r\nThe members of the Political Authority listened to a details of the situation in the city of Tal Afar and the suffering of its people presented by the MP for the province of Nineveh honorable Sheikh Mohammed Taqi al-Mawla, the National Iraqi Alliance announced solidarity with the suffering of the people of this city that offered a lot of sacrifices, called to use the sons of Tal Afar to expedite liberating the city from Daesh criminals.
