The Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance holds its regular meeting
The Political Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its regular meeting presided by head of the Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, at his eminence office in Baghdad Tuesday, 18/7/2017.
\r\nThe conferees discussed topics on the meeting agenda related to follow-up on decisions and recommendations of the Leadership Authority, confirming the Alliance\'s commitment to the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority regarding priorities after the liberation of Mosul and follow up on implementation.
\r\nConferees discussions also covered date and suite of the national settlement announcement and follow up steps on implementation and further discussions with the remaining sides involved, and to discuss priorities in the legislative area for the remainder of the current parliamentary tenure, conferees stressed on the importance of National Iraqi Alliance unity to pass laws that are delayed and yet affecting the interests of citizens.
\r\nThe meeting also included addressing some of the problems faced by the heroic fighters of the popular mobilization forces, urged the Prime Minister to speed up the issuance of directives related to popular mobilization forces law that was recently approved by the Iraqi House of Representatives.
\r\nThe Political Authority also approved the recommendations of the Governmental Committee of the National Iraqi Alliance regarding Najaf airport, to be submitted to the Prime Minister.
