Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim with the Ambassador of Kuwait to discuss bilateral relations and reconstruction of liberated cities
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received Ambassador of Kuwait Salem Al Zamanan Thursday 27/7/2017.
\r\nHis eminence with Zamanan discussed developments in the political situation in the region and the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait and the post-Daesh phase, and the repercussions of the current phase on the entire region considering the military fall of terrorism in the very areas where it had declared its state. His eminence called for international and regional efforts to counter Takfiri thought, plus the importance of intelligence efforts to expose terrorist networks and terrorist sources of funding.
\r\nHis eminence stressed Iraq\'s need to be supported from everyone, especially the neighboring countries, in order to keep unity and combating terrorism, warned of repercussions that may be reflected in the region as a result o situations in Iraq.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the importance of comprehensive Iraqi projects and attention to challenges of the current phase, which differs from 2003, appreciating Kuwait\'s support for Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
