Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives the Swiss ambassador in Baghdad
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, called to invest unity of Iraqis in the transition from the stage of building democracy to the stage of state-building.
\r\nHis eminence received the Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq, Hans Peter, in his office in Baghdad Sunday 6/8/2017, and stressed the need to invest unity of Iraqi people groups and the victories against the Daesh terrorist gangs in the fight against corruption and resettlement of displaced families, prepare the country for the upcoming elections and perform the elections on time.
\r\nregarding international and regional affairs, his eminence pointed out that Iraq seeks to be a bridge for relations in the region and for countries of the world in order to take its vital role, stressed Iraq\'s need for common ground for regional dialogue and finding a unified vision on critical issues.
\r\nAmbassador Peter congratulated Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim for establishing the Al-Hikma National Movement, stressed his country\'s sustained support for Iraq in the fight against Daesh and in the post-liberation phase, reconstruction of liberated areas and fostering peaceful coexistence.
