    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with delegation of the Iraqi Scholars Group headed by Sheikh Khalid Al-Mulla to discuss civil peace and opposing extremist speech

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in Baghdad, received delegation of the Iraqi Scholars Group headed by Sheikh Khalid Al-Mulla and discussed achieving civil peace and opposing extremist discourse on Sunday 27/8/2017

    His eminence stressed that religious scholars should take their part in modernizing religious speech, confronting extremist ideas and addressing, isolating and exposing those who live on this type of speech, pointed out that Daesh was based on false readings of Islam transcriptions and misleaded people. His eminence pointed to the importance of achieving civil peace and raising above differences in order to maintain military victory and support it with a security, political, social and military victory.

    His eminence pointed out the importance of breaking barriers between Iraqi society components through comprehensive national projects, pointed out that the Al-Hikma National Movement emerged from the challenges of current phase and year 2017 readings and stated “We want a national movement that holds wisdom as a key to solving crises facing Iraq, we want it national and comprehensive for all Iraqi denominations within the borders of the homeland”.

    The Iraqi Scholars Group delegation headed by Sheikh Mullah congratulated establishing the Al-Hikma National Movement, expressed his conviction Iraq’s need to entities unbiased to sectarianism that save Iraq from its crises and end political exploitation of components.
