Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, visited one of orphanages in Baghdad Monday 4/9/2017 called on the Iraqi government to take care of social foundations concerned with orphans’ care and mitigate the suffering of orphans who are visibly increasing due to terrorism and wars.


His eminence praised the great exerted efforts made by a number of orphanages to rehabilitate orphans of all ages and from all governorates of Iraq, counted these projects as restoration of the national spirit and a development of capacities and talents. His eminence urged the government to encourage these non-governmental projects in order to accommodate the numbers of orphans, stressed on integration of efforts with the social actors having educational, psychological and funding abilities to contribute in containing problems and negativities surrounding this matter.
