Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with the Speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives to discuss enactment of important laws and the post-victory phase over Daesh
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met Speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives Mr. Saleem al-Jubouri in the office of the latter in Baghdad Saturday 10/9/2017. His eminence and Jubouri discussed enactment of important laws as well as discuss the post-military victory Daesh that is near to be concluded.
\r\nHis eminence emphasized on the need for political, economic and administrative victories and victories in the anti-corruption action, pointed out the importance of dialogue to resolve the problems between Baghdad and Erbil in accordance with the constitution and work to restore trust among everyone by following the constitution as a whole.
\r\nHis eminence called for maintaining the achieved victories and adhering to unity that was the most powerful weapon in the face of terrorism, pointed out the importance of reconstructing the liberated cities and cities of liberators, and work to impose the prestige of the state and its institutions, establish a state of citizenship that cares for everyone without exception.
\r\nThe meeting discussed regional developments in regards of combating terrorism, stressed regional security and cooperation in the fight against terrorism and Iraq retaking its international and regional position that commensurate with Iraq\'s magnitude and historical role.
