    Al-Hakeem condemns the assassination of the former President of Afghanistan Burhan al-din Rabani

    On Sunday 24th of November 2011, Sayeed Amar al-Hakeem, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraqi condemned the bloody crime that caused the death of former Afghan President Burhan al-din Rabani, considering his absence as a big loss not for the Afghani people only but also to the Muslim world as he was the among who well-known by the sincerity, Fidelity and moderation.

     

    This event took place in a statement issued by His Eminence. Al-Hakeem pointed also that Rabani was until his last days doing all his good in convergence the Afghani factions views to reach the national unity.

     

    The following is the text of the statement

     

                                                      In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

     

    We are Allah's and lo! Unto Him we are returning

      The crime and terrorism power in Afghanistan assassinated another prominent character who fought and struggled for long years for the liberation of Afghanistan, he is the Sheikh martyr Burhan al-din Rabani, the former President of Afganistan.

     

     The martyr took several important roles during his life in achieving the unity of the Afghan people and brings peace to its lands; He was even on his last days of life using his good approximation to gather views among the Afghan factions, hoping to reach national unity.

     

     The absence of such men is a great loss not only for the people of Afghanistan, but also to the Muslim world because he was special in sincerity and moderation.

     

     We condemn this bloody crime and we extend our condolences to the people of Afghanistan in general and his family especially, we ask Allah to spread the mercy upon his soul and inspire his family patience.

     

     There is no power but from Allah, the highest, the greatest and the happy end for the righteous.
