Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim sends congratulatory telegram to Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, Head of the Palestinian Authority, on the occasion of the success of voting in favor of Palestine as an observer member in the United Nations Organization. Below is its text:
Your Excellency Respectful Mr. Mahmoud Abbas,
Head of the Palestinian Authority
Peace with you, the mercy of Allah and His blessings
We congratulate you and the steadfast people of Palestine for the success of the vote in favor of granting Palestine an observer membership in the United Nations Organization. It is a great achievement for all good Palestinian forces and movements along the difficult and arduous march in the history of the struggle of the Palestinian people. On this occasion, we express our happiness and plead to Allah, the most Praised, the most Exalted One, to complete His blessing on you with an independent fully sovereign state in which our people in Palestine enjoy security, safety, freedom and dignity.
