During his Meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, the Iraqi Turkmen Front Chairman Appreciates his Eminence's Interest in Defending the Turkmens
Mr. Arshad al-Salehi, chairman of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's interest in the Turkmen component of Iraq, appraising his honorable positions in defending all the Iraqi components without any discrimination.
This came during a visit by the delegation of the Turkmen Front led by Mr. Arshad al-Salehi and Mr. Nourhan al-Mufti, the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs, to Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, in the latter's office in Baghdad Thursday, 20/6/2013.
His Eminence stressed the necessity of enacting as soon as possible the laws that are important to Turkmens in order to put an end to the injustice suffered by this kind people.
For his part, Mr. Arshad al-Salehi called on the Iraqi political forces to be assume their responsibilities and to follow the lead of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim in reiterating the rights of Turkmen and stopping the attacks perpetrated by terrorists against the Turkmen people
