    In a Telegram to the Egyptian President, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Denounces the Terrorist Attacks of Yesterday in Egypt, the Brother Country


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, strongly denounced the terrorist attacks that hit Egypt yesterday, confirming that such unfamiliar acts will not stand out for too long against the Egyptians' culture and great civilization.
    This is what Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim wrote in a telegram to Mr. Adly Mansour, the president of Egypt, Saturday, January 25, 2014.
     
    Below is the text of the telegram:
     
    In the Name of Allah the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful
     
    Mr. President Adly Mansour,
    The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the brother country
    Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you,
    We have received with great regret the news of the terrorist attacks perpetrated against the brother Egypt and which resulted in many dead and injured among the citizens of the beloved Egypt. As we strongly denounce and condemn such terrorist attacks, we extend to you, to the government and to the brother Egyptian people our sincerest condolences, while confirming that such unfamiliar acts will not stand out for too long against the Egyptians' culture and great civilization.
    We beseech Allah, the Almighty, to have mercy on the martyrs and give their families patience and the injured fast recovery and to keep the Arab national Egypt and its brother people away from any calamity.
