Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Strongly Condemns the Bomb Attack on the Imam al Sadeq (AS) and Extends his Condolences to the Emir of Kuwait
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, extended his deepest condolences to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah over the bombing of the Imam Al Sadeq mosque with an explosive belt that killed dozens of praying people, hopinh that the Almighty grants mercy to the martyrs and gives patience to their parents.
This came in a statement his eminence sent to the Emir of the State of Kuwait on Friday, 26/6/2015.
His eminence expressesd his strong condemnation of the painful incident and horrible crime that violated all the sanctities by attacking a house of God in the month of God and shedding blood that God has forbidden to shed. He considered this as part of the terrorist agenda of ISIS and its actions aiming to divide the Islamic nation and sow sectarian discord in it, explaining that Iraq has been suffering for 12 years from these crimes. He called to join and coordinate efforts to confront this grave danger and work on drying its sources of intellectual, logistic, social and media support, warning against the danger of terrorism that has no set limits as its goals are declared: it aims to desecrate the entire Islamic world keeping no sanctity for the forbidden blood, the holy month or the sacred place. His eminence added that the battle of terrorism against us is global which makes it inevitable for us to confront it at a global level, finally wishing that God protects all Muslims and the people of Kuwait and grants mercy to the martyrs and innocent victims and a quick recovery to the wounded.
