Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, stressed that the Iraqis were able to break the terrorist Daesh and declaration of the final victory over Daesh is subjected to prioritizing maintaining the lives of citizens who were not displaced and stayed in their homes in Mosul, pointing out that the achieving victory without harming civilians, is a lesson and a new strategy in the battle.
\r\nThis was during a TV interview conducted by the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) Sunday, 11/12/2016. His eminence stressed that We Are Coming, Nineveh operations and the liberation of Mosul a top priority for the government and the Iraqi people, because Mosul is the capital of the alleged Daesh Caliphate reign and the last strongholds where terrorist factions of Daesh are active.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim explained that there are a million citizens of Nineveh province, Iraq that still live in the areas of military operations, and this is one of the reasons that affects the speed of Iraqi military operations, but there is a new military strategy that keeps the citizens from harms way.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed out that there are big scale projects and agendas standing behind Daesh, leading to beliefs that Daesh is in fact a terrorist organization that is not moving of its own accord without having agendas and projects supporting it, enabling Daesh to become a big and influential terrorist organization during the past two years, that afflict Iraq, Syria and expand to many other regions of the world, and represent a threat to the international peace and security, and to the regional security and peace as well, however, we are fighting Daesh terrorism by one hand and we extend an olive branch in the other hand to negotiate and dialogue with the countries of the region and the world, to form a broad and wide front to support Iraq in this battle.
\r\nHead of the National Iraqi Alliance reiterated his refusal to the presence of any non-Iraqi combatant forces that are fighting without consultation and coordination with the Iraqi government, noting that some countries sent their armies into Iraq and wanted to intervene in the battle, against the will of the Iraqis, which recorded clear reservations by Iraqi leaderships and the Iraqi government and a wide popular rejection, stressing keenness to Iraq\'s national sovereignty and that this battle is to executed exclusively by Iraqis, without the interference from any foreign non-Iraqi fighters.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim explained that the National Iraqi Alliance was keen to provide an integrated national project which is the National Settlement Bill , and called national partners in Iraq to join this project to create a reassuring political project for all components of Iraq, indicating that this means that we fight and win militarily in one hand, and in the other hand, we offer a reassuring political project for all, that is devoted for Iraq\'s unity and accomplish harmony between Iraqi people, so that everyone take fair chances without outbidding, without extortions and without unfair claims away from the context of the Constitution.
