On Monday 31st of October 2011, Sayeed Amar al-Hakeem stressed that the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq has good relationships with all national powers and he is committed to defend the Iraqi people and supports any step to serve the Iraqi people and opposes any move that does not serve the people even if they were done by a close relative.
This event took place during his inspection tour to the Basra province and meeting with the women cadres. Al-Hakeem assured that al-Mihrab martyr movement among the first in the belief that the democracy is the success key of the political process in Iraq.
The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq expressed his happiness to meet with staff women in the province of Basra.
The meeting synchronized with the memory of the blessed marriage of Imam Ali (PBUH) of Fatima al-Zahra (PBUH), indicating that this marriage as its belong to the Profit of Allah’s family, Mohamed (PBUH), it also represent the revival of the approach of Allah that lunched by Profit Mohamed when he said "O’ People, Say there is no God but Allah, you will see good" stressing that power lies in the right no matter how its abandoned by the people, and that falsehood is weak no matter how it stood with the people, the right remains and the falsehood is to the demise.
Mr. Hakim praised of the city of Basra because of its history, sacrifices, and national attitudes, recalling of the role of women in Basra and their history in contributing the progress and develop the national project in Iraq.
His Eminence also called during the meeting on the commitment the  religious and national values ​​in order to have the satisfaction  of Allah to be the balance and the standard of  the man’s’ performance, he explained more detailed about the Supreme Council project and his vision in building a successful modern state, urging the women cadres of the Supreme Council to discussion and clarification until getting full conviction, which in its turn leads to the education and the victory by getting a  national project, calling the staff of the Supreme Council’s institutions to be active in the presence among the people however during the events and social and political activities
