    Al-Hakeem: Iraq can’t be ruled by some specific nationalism or Sect, but by all Iraqis

    On late Thursday 26th of January 2012. Sayeed Amar al-Hakeem the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq met Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister.

    Al-Hakeem and Erdogan discussed during the meeting, the latest regional events and the challenges facing the regional countries, His Eminence stressed that Iraq after the U.S. withdrawal is in need for a national partnership in the government as It cannot be ruled by some specific nationalism or Sect, but by all Iraqis.

    His Eminence Indicated Iraq's desire to launch a message of love and brotherly with neighboring country of Turkey to serve the interests of both countries and enhance their relationships.

    This event has come to end al-Hakeem’s visit to Turkey after meeting with President Abdullah Gul and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
